Rachael Brownell is back with a brand new book in the addicting Lake State University series and y'all, it was all hands on deck when this beauty landed in my kindle. I've been reading this series since the very start and this University and group of characters had become a bit like home for me.

Defiant Little Love gives us Max and Kora's story, the ninth and last in the series and these two hooked me from the very start of their story and what a story they told. Packed from cover to cover with everything we needed to round this series out, this complicated journey will tug at your heart and give you whiplash at times but gahhhh. My heart. Kora and Max were so very worth it. 

If you haven't visited Lake State University and you like college romances with heart, heat, angsty tension, and jammed packed with all the feels then this series is an absolute must read. And while I'm sad to see it go.. this will totally be added to my reread pile for the future.

I can't recommend this series enough y'all.
