Santa likes lists and so do I, so here's all the reasons why Andrew and I aren't right for each other:

That last one is big for a girl like me who thinks that the entire month of December should be a national holiday. So, when he calls for my help in planning his firm's holiday party, I can't pass up the opportunity to grow my small business. Bonus, we make a deal, and he agrees to attend three holiday events with me so I can make him fall in love with Christmas. As if I'd pass up an opportunity to make a Grinch's heart grow three times its size.

It isn't long until I discover Andrew has a very real reason to hate Christmas and I start to see him in a different light. That's when the Christmas miracle begins.

Tis the Season for Romance...

And what a cute romance Piper Rayne gives with Single and Ready to Jingle. There was a little bit of everything in this holiday-themed book.

We follow along with Kenzie and Andrew, she is the Christmas lover, while he is the stick in the mud. Once Kenzie learns this, she's looking to change his attitude towards her favorite holiday. Kenzie is a party planner and she’s helping Andrew get a leg up at work by planning a company Christmas party with the boss’s new wife. Andrew is out of his element after telling said wife he was a lover of Christmas and hopes Kenzie’s idea of helping him learn to love it works.

Both Kenzie and Andrew were written well. Each with their own slight character flaw that balances them out well. Andrew’s stuffy exterior was the perfect fit for Kenzie’s bubbly personality. Little did each of them know, there’s some slight baggage from the past that keeps them from moving forward. Oh and he's her brother's best friend to make it a smidge more complicated.

The book is well written and such a fun read. While we don’t get a heck of a lot of angst, it was steamier than I thought it would be. Along with Andrew and Kenzie, the story is helped along by friends and family. Single and Ready to Jingle reads as a standalone and is perfect to put you in that holiday mood!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, a grinch with a story, secrets, and a Christmas miracle.

This is Kenzie and Andrew’s story. Kenzie loves Christmas. Andrew is a grinch. Andrew told his boss’s wife that he was a lover of Christmas and is now in charge of planning a Christmas party at work. Kenzie is a party planner, so she agrees to help him out. Since she is a lover of Christmas, she wants him to be also. The more sha spends time with him the more she falls but he is her brother’s best friend so there is a little forbidden issue with that. But once she finds out just why he does not like Christmas will she be able to help him come to at least like it? Or will she have to walk away and lose him in the process?

I highly recommend this book.
