[Release Blitz + Review] Holiday Hoax by Maggie Cole

TITLE: Holiday Hoax
AUTHOR: Maggie Cole
GENRE: Holiday Romance
RELEASE DATE: November 15, 2022

BLURB.

Little Miss Sunshine will make the perfect fake bride to take home for the holidays… who cares if I’m her boss?

She’s going to drive me nuts.
Nevertheless, her perky everything, endless legs, and innocent eyes will come in handy.
It’ll stop my family from pushing every country girl turned wanna-be Dallas socialite on me.
The town gossips will be disappointed she’s not another one of my fiancรฉes that’ll never make it down the aisle. And they’ll be jealous when every man falls in love with her.
I’ll ignore everyone and work… except when she’s fueling my warped needs.
Although she did surprise me and negotiated a higher prenup for her silly cupcake bakery.
Too bad for her, I’m not a reckless billionaire—my attorney will find the loophole.
Once January 2nd arrives, I’m divorcing her.

Except the more we’re together, the more she’s infiltrating my heart… in ways that have me second guessing our secret arrangement…

Holiday Hoax is a billionaire fake marriage, enemies to lovers, office romance. It’s a slow-burn steamy standalone novel with a grumpy hero who has a broken past and a good girl spitfire heroine who keeps him on his toes.

MY REVIEW.

5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved It!

Admittingly, I wasn’t too sure about yet another billionaire book, however I liked the Christmas spin to it and ended up loving the story of Sebastain and Georgia.

The blurb says it all and frankly the storyline was quite predictable. That said, it was an absolute dream to see this opposites attract couple navigate the lie they have spun, each for their own needs. Georgia and Sebastain couldn’t be more different and yet those differences complemented one another beautifully.

He is the ultimate player, burned by greedy women in his past and figures why would Georgia be any different. Her name is Georgia Peach and that’s exactly what she is, a peach of a woman. She has dreams and sees him as a way to attain those dreams quickly. These two were written perfectly. I’m so not a fan of insta-love, however Maggie Cole did a great job with the insta-wedding, yet slow burn behind the scenes. I was excited for the (hopefully) transformed Sebastian. He was a man hurt in his past and now has the perfect woman in front of him.

“For the first time in my life, it hits me that I’m looking at a woman who isn’t ever going to let me have her.”

Game on for Sebastian. His eyes are opened to a new way of looking at the world when he gets to know Georgia better. She is all light to his constant dark.

The book is well written and kind of reminded me of the movie The Proposal. The whole boss man and assistant fake marriage thing and then they realize they know nothing about each other. Along with our main characters, we have Sebastian’s huge family falling prey to the hoax, along with Georgia’s friend Melanie. This was a great holiday read that really ended up surprising me.
