MY REVIEW.
3.5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lots Going On.
In Flesh We Burn Claris Jade gives readers quite the story with Yesenia and Armand. After the first chapter, I wasn't sure what to expect next.
We are introduced to Yesenia and Armando present to the past and then in a whole other dimension I suppose. I'm horrible with the Marvel timeline and this book reminded me of it. Trying to keep track of who and where. I liked Yesenia and thought she was written well as a fighter. Armondo was a tad on the creepy side, however grew on me as I read.
While I liked the storyline, the book felt like it started to drag. Sometimes a lot can be said in fewer pages. Out of my comfort zone for sure, as I’m not a huge paranormal reader, but gave it a try. I was intrigued by the darkness and angst surrounding Yesenia and Armando. Warned of the cliffhanger ending, I still felt a little cheated reading a book of this size with no real finish line.
AUTHOR BIO.
Claris lives in Sunshine California with her family and dog. Claris had been mesmerized by enthralling story telling as a kid and now chooses to express herself with all art forms. She loves to explore the different ways to mix sub-genres and tropes that are not normally put together, like a contemporary supernatural romance. She loves to write about how broken alphas and badass heroines fall in love to find the best versions of themselves and solace in each other. When she is not drawing or binging crime shows, she is probably adding more angst and drama to her books or thinking about how to connect all of her series.
