I was pulled right into this very short story. The story has laughs, pain, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Alisa and Archer’s story. Archer is a newer cop to the laurel springs police department. Alisa works for the hospital. These two are drawn to each other from the start but they both have issues that come from the past and families. She ran from the last town and really is unsure that dating a cop is a good idea. When the past comes up, she turns right to him. Can they overcome the family issues to be able to deal with the other issues? Or will someone make sure he does not have her very long after she tells her story to other cops. Can Archer protect her?

This book, what a romance this was... hooked me from the very start and I couldn't put it down for a single moment.
Archer gives us Alisa and Archer’s story and y'all, my heart. Their journey was a quite the fast read, unexpected at times and it'll put you through the ringer with alllllllll the emotions. So so so good.
Laramie definitely knows her romance and how to hit you just right when it comes to the journey and her characters. I adooooore this series hard.
I can't recommend this author enough.
