The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Shay and Noah’s story. Shay is a teacher that though she has it all until she didn’t. While truing to figure out what to do she got a letter about an inheritance, but it came with conditions. She decides to move to the town and at least stay until she has to give it up in a year. Her neighbor is her high school friend Noah. He is raising his niece on his own farm that his family owned. His niece is funny and uses lots of bad words in her daily life. Noah is doing the best he can. He has been in love with Shay forever. When she tells him of the stipulations of her step-grandmother’s will he steps up. They agree on terms and move forward. Can they build something that will last more than a year or will he leave her after the year as everyone always leaves her.

I recommend this book.
