TITLE: My Perfect Enemy
AUTHOR: Jessica Prince
SERIES: Whitecap #2
GENRE/TROPE: Contemporary Romance; Small Town Romance; Enemies to Lovers; Single Dad; Office Romance
Rule number 1: Never fall for the enemy.
Rule number 2: Never get involved with a local.
Luna Copeland lives by those rules, which complicates things tremendously when her new boss turns out to be a former one-night stand. As if that isn’t bad enough, he’s also a world-class jerk. But she just can’t make herself stop thinking about their one night together.
When Nate Warren left Whitecap years ago, he was certain he wouldn’t come back. But when his daughter starts acting up and getting into trouble, the small coastal town proves to be the best place for her. With an unruly teen on his hands, the last thing he has time for is romance. Unfortunately, he can’t get his sassy assistant out of his head.
When ignoring their attraction fails, Nate decides he wants all in. He just has to convince Luna she wants the same.

The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.
The below books are part of this series if you want to read those books(s) first:
Crossing the Line (Whitecap #1)
This is Luna and Nate’s story. Luna and Nate had a one-night stand but that should have been the end of it. But now he is back in town and her new boss. He seems like a huge jerk and that should keep them from getting close. But the pull is strong, and they can’t resist. When he decides that he wants her and is done resisting. He is going to have to work with getting her to give him a chance. After all she does not want the same right?
I recommend this book.

Jessica Prince is back with the next standalone in the Whitecap series. Y'all, I'm pretty sure Jessica owns a *queen* title in the small town romance trope because of beauties like this right here. My Perfect Enemy was everything I needed it to be.
Gaaaahhhh. My heart, it fell hard and fast for these two. Luna and Nate were everything in soooo many moments, along their journey and y'all, just wait until you dive headfirst into their story.. unforgettable nearly every step of the way.
So so good and unputdownable on nearly every page. I cannot wait for the next in this series y'all.. well really just the next book and swoony love story from Jessica.
I can't recommend this author enough.
Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.
Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.
In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.
Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
