[Release Blitz + Review] Traded by Kimberly Knight & Rachel Lyn Adams

TITLE: Traded
SERIES: Off the Field Duet #1
AUTHORS: Kimberly Knight & Rachel Lyn Adams
GENRE: MM Sports Romance
RELEASE DATE: March 31, 2022

BLURB.

Aron Parker is one of the best players in professional baseball. Following in his father’s footsteps, his entire life revolves around the game. Opponents call him cocky, and they aren’t wrong, but no one knows the driving force behind his arrogance.

Until he has to play nice with his enemy.

Drew Rockland is the epitome of calm and collected on the mound. As a veteran player, he knows what it takes to pitch under pressure while keeping his emotions in check.

Until he faces Aron and loses his cool.

Aron’s showboating and Drew’s old-school ballplayer demeanor instantly puts them at odds, resulting in an all-out brawl on the field and a suspension. After the fight, all should have been forgotten, but an unexpected trade places them on the same team … and in the same apartment.

Off the field, there is no one to pull them apart ...

But maybe they prefer it that way.

Traded is a MM enemies-to-lovers sports romance with first times and secret hook-ups that will leave you begging for more. And good thing, since this is book 1 in a duet and their story will conclude in book 2.

MY REVIEW.

4 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In Traded, Kimberly Knight gives us a different start for a MM relationship than I am used to. Aron and Drew are baseball players, one in a relationship with a woman and the other known for being with many women. Nether ready for what's in store for them.

Aron and Drew are both fantastic at the game, Aron the hotshot and Drew the elder statesman if you will, who is there to play the game. He's rarely involved with the antics after games and goes home to his model girlfriend. His life seems perfect, until it isn't. Drew's world gets rocked and he ends up face to face with this so called arch enemy, Aron.

Aron has some commitment issues stemming from his past. He's a wild child and proud of it. He has no shame in bedding a different woman every week and doesn't understand what business it is of Drew's anyway. However, like Drew, Aron's world is flipped upside down and while they don't see it at first, it's the best move for both of them.

I liked Drew and Aron separately, as a couple it was more difficult. They are a bit of an opposites attract situation, but it was the lives they were currently living and then the insta-into a guy thing that threw me. I would have liked to peek into thier past and maybe learn about some experimenting, or feelings that have been tamped down. This was bam! we are all in with each other. That said, I did like the angst of the other shoe dropping with thier teammates at any time, as well as Drew's past resurfacing to throw a wrench in his almost settled life.

The book is well written and of course with the duet, we end on quite the cliffhanger. Along with Drew and Aron, we have thier families and teammates to help move the story along. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out in the next one.
