When I read and reviewed Hypocritically Yours, the first standalone in the Astor Family series, I prayed that this would turn into a series as I think it was meant to be a standalone. Well I got my wish (I'm sure many others were praying too) and here we are. I was expecting BIG, HUGE things since I freaking loved that book and whoa. Hayley slayed this one from the first word to the last. Laurent brought it all when it came to his book and gave me everything I needed form him in the most unforgettable, complicated ways.

Egotistically Yours dives head first back into the Astor family (what an interesting crew, eh?!) and all their drama. You see everything has changed.. months have passed.. and it is time for Laurent to grow up, take control of his life *both personal and business*, make some decisions, and finally make something REAL for himself. And with his new, unexpected family now on the line, he might just do all that but it won't be easy or for lack of obstacles getting in his way. He is going to have to push, pull and fight for his family in all aspects of his life and what a beautiful sight it was to be a spectator in that journey. What. A. Sight.

The Astor Family is back ladies and gents aaaaaand we FINALLY, finally get into the heads the frustrating playboy, Laurent and the sweet, unassuming Bethanie. Fans of the first book in this series will recognize these two from the background (and alllllll their drama, whew!) and boy do they have a story to tell and a baby to introduce us too. **I KNOW, I KNOW!!** And of course we get more Tenny, Daddy Astor, and their adorable little family. And the rest of the Astor family, even some unexpected ones pop up.

Laurent is a take it all, demand everything and ask questions later kind of guy and when it comes to his family, NOTHING will stop him, not even himself.

I'm sooooo hoping we saw some foreshadowing happening in this beauty for our broken but strong Lucinda as the next book because gahhhh, a certain silver fox might be able to heal that girl. Or maybe that's just me wishful thinking. 🤣

I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this highly addicting series. Y'all Hypocritically Yours was a top read for me last year and guaranteed this one will be on my top list for this year.

As an only child, HAYLEY FAIMAN had to entertain herself somehow. She started writing stories at the age of six and never really stopped.

Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, he’s still the love of her life.

Hayley’s husband joined the military and they lived in  Oregon, where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.

Most of Hayley’s days are spent taking care of her two boys, going to the baseball fields for practice, or helping them with homework. Her evenings are spent with her husband and her nights—those are spent creating alpha book boyfriends.
