I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, suspense, danger, and heartbreak.

This is Bell and Maverick’s story. Bell grew up in a cult. Her daughters that she had to give up to save them from the same fate as her rescue her from her life. Now she is trying to get her life together. She is not used to the outside world as she was forced into a life so different. Maverick wants her from the start but can tell she went through something. As she opens up to him and fall into a relationship he learns more and more. The uncover more secrets and more people that the cult are after. Can he protect her and her family? Can they build a future when the cult is still out there?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

LeAnn Ashers is back with a brand new release in the addicting Grim Sinners Original series and y'all.... whoa baby! What a book! Maverick was everything in a whole lot of way, in all the best moments and this baby packed with so. many. emotions.
Once I started this beauty, I could not put it down for a single second, devouring it whole. I mean we have a broken but quiet strong woman putting herself back together and one alpha male who will make you swoon to the absolute max that's determined to protect her at all costs. What's not to love, amiright? Bell and Maverick stole my heart along their journey and the tears, so very real at times for them.
This book has suspense, steam, heat, all of the feels, and quite a few twists that'll keep you on your toes. LeAnn is a master with her words and creates the most beautiful characters. I cannot wait to see what she gives us next.
I highly recommend this book.
