J. Nathan really took me for a fun and memorable ride when I was introduced to this series with the first book, For Finlay and while I've missed a couple along the way... I had no issues falling right back into line with the For You series and especially its latest standalone, For Emery.
Everything was right in their own little world, even for just a moment, until it wasn't. Secrets and shame tore them apart, her leaving without a word or glance back. It's been years and everything has changed. Grady and Emery are about to find themselves back in each other's lives and this time around they might just get a second chance to do it right.
A sweet, sexy, emotional, deep, can't turn the pages fast enough, second chance romance that fiercely stole my heart and had Grady and Emery all in my head right from the very beginning. Undeniable chemistry. Unforgettable moments. Pain. Heartbreak. Another chance to get answers and find the forever that slipped from their grip years back. These two made me bleed at times and soar with so much swoon and happiness in others and I did nothing y'all but root for them on the sidelines... the entire time.
This series is a must read and I've promised myself to go read what I've missed because I know it'll be..everything.

Emery stood there, her eyes dancing with amusement. Her skinny jeans
and sparkly black tank top made her fit in with the rest of the girls in the
crowded bar. But she wasn’t just any girl. “What’d you do?”
My eyes narrowed.
She ticked her head over her shoulder. “To make her ditch you in the
middle of the dance floor?”
“I told her I wasn’t taking her home with me.”
Emery stared at me, her brows drawn. “Why not? Isn’t that what you college
football players do? Get girls to go home with you?”
I shrugged. “Not sure. You wanna come home with me?”
She laughed and her entire face lit up like it did when we were
younger. And that right there. That was the reason the other girl wasn’t coming
home with me. She didn’t look at me like Emery did.
The thought hit me hard, nearly leveling me.
I wanted to be looked at the way Emery looked at me—like she saw the
real me. I deserved that.
