This is Harper and Declan’s story. They have been friends for a long time. He had a crush on her but when his brother asks her out she accepts. Now five years have passed, and they broke up. He is back from serving his time in the marines. He is about to become a cop in the same town and maybe finally get the girl he always wanted. The only problem is that his brother and his girl seem to be together again. But something is off, and he is going to figure it out. When he does figure everything out, he is going after his girl. Harper never really wanted to help out Decla’s brother but in the end she made him get her tickets to something, so she is trying to be a good friend even when she wants another brother. But when Harper calls off the fake dating will she get a chance with the one brother she has always wanted? Lots of funny moments with friends and family that will have you laughing throughout this story.
I recommend this book.
