These are the stories of six of them.

Daphne’s trip to the local bar turns into an amazing, unforgettable night with a stranger. Can she give him more than one night?

How long have you been writing?I have been writing since 2011 but have been published since December of 2014.What made you decide to become an author?I needed something else in my life to fuel the passion inside of me. My job, I considered a dead-end joy and I felt I was going nowhere in life and not contributing as I wanted to. Writing, literally, came to me in sentences, thoughts, ideas and images. I started jotting them down and here I am now, with more than 23 books published. Can you describe your writing process? Do you do an outline or use other tools?I am pantser so I write when the feeling hits me. I will have a general idea about the book, it's beginning, the main characters and that's about it. I do not know the ending or where the book will go once I start writing it. The characters dictate the book to me as I type their words. How do you research items in your stories?Through Google search. LOL. I will research all kinds of things including different animals as I want my shape shifters to be genuine and true to the animal they represent.Do you use read life experiences when you write your stories?Yes, I use experiences from my own life as I feel it adds to the "realness" of the book and the characters. How do you come up with character names?I either think them up or Google what type of names I want to find and then run through them until something strikes me or fascinates me. I like unique names so many of my characters will have names that are not popular or heard of in modern society. How do you develop your characters? Are they based on real life people?Yes and no. The females are various versions of me or people I know. The males are sometimes born out of ideas. Example: Josh in Nightfall was created from my own wants and desires in a life partner. He was everything I envisioned in the perfect man.Do you ever not like a character or any reason?I, generally, end up liking all my characters regardless of who and how they are. In Daybreak, Weldon is a rebel and a playboy but even he, who has a famous nickname given to him by past lovers, is likable, in the end. What is your favorite genre to write and why?Paranormal romance. You can create all kinds of worlds, sub-worlds, powers and strengths depending on which beings you write about. I love the aspect of creating something that may or may not exist and making it part of your fictional world. What genre would you never write and why?Mystery. I think you have to be pretty smart to write this type of genre plus keeping track of all the characters, their personalities, and all that happens in the book to arrive at one conclusion- who did it?_ wow. Nah. That's too much for me to keep track of. LOLIf a reader was new to you what book should they start with and why?It depends on which paranormal romance being you prefer. If it's angels, I would recommend award-winning Escapade as it is such a fun book with a powerful angel in it. If the readers prefers shape shifters, possibly Nightfall, the award-winning fan favorite for more than 10 years.Do you write novellas? if so do you like writing them or do you feel they are too short and don't contain enough details?I write books of all lengths and I have written novellas. When I write one, it is pretty much decided that the book will go no further and I do try to capture as much as possible in the book for the reader to enjoy. However, due to the short length of the book, this is not always possible. If you have written a series would you like to go back to write a second generation of that series?Actually, I do have in mind another Angel series but it will be awhile before I take on that endeavor. The new series will be related to my Guardian League series and it will be a shared world.Do you write crossover books to pull another series into a new one? Or even crossover characters?Yes. I have written some of my favorite characters, like Archangel Michael in to several books that are not part of the Wingtopia Club series. When the mood strikes and a previous character seems to fit into a book, I may introduce that character into a part of the book just because it will make the book better.Do you have a side character that you have not yet written about that you want to? If so why?Not yet.Do you have a favorite book you have written? This is a tough question as I like all of my books but I will say two of my books are dedicated to my pets. One is Nightfall and the other is Daybreak.Do you have a reader group where your fans can connect with you?I have a fan group for my top fans. They are the "TK Lawyer's Kick-ass Kittens" on Facebook. It is a private group and is for my very top, best fans.
Reading
Who are your favorite authors and why?Ruby Dixon, Dean Koontz, Linda Barnes and so many more. Ruby writes monster romance and I absolutely love that genre. Dean Koontz has been a favorite of mine since childhood. His worlds are immersive, and I strive to do the same with all of my books. Linda Barnes has a female investigator series that I have enjoyed reading. Carlotta Carlyle is quirky and fun which make these books so entertaining. What is your favorite genre to read?Monster romanceWhat is your favorite place read?Anywhere in the houseHow do you prefer to read?kindle or other deviceDo you post reviews?Yes, when I can
Future plans
What are you working on next?My current WIP is with my editor. The book is the 3rd book in the Wingtopia Club series and is called "Her Fallen Angel." It tells the story of the doorman to Wingtopia who is so much more than just a simple doorman. What do you hope to gain in the future with your writing?More readers. Plus I hope to get better at my craft.
Movie v/s book
If you read a book and it turns into a movie would you want to watch it?Maybe though I have found most movies are not as good as the book.
Fun facts
What is something about you that most people would not know about?Although I write steamy angel paranormal romance and write things human beings do with angels that could be considered blasphemous by some, I am a very spiritual person. What is your favorite place to write? In my house and in a quiet, restful atmosphereWhich of your characters would you like to go out on a date with and why?LOL. All of them are great although some might be more entertaining like Centurion, for example, the 2nd book in the Guardian League who enjoys "Strong and Hot things."Which character would you kill off first and why?LOL. None of them. I like them all.
Advice
Do you read reviews when readers post them? If so how do you handle negative reviews?Yes. Probably, not very well. My books are my babies. It takes a lot out of me to write, especially since I work a full-time job as well so harsh criticism is unnecessary but sometimes found. It hurts every time I read something, especially if it unjust; however, everyone is entitled to their opinions and that's truly what they are, in the end. What advice would you give to an aspiring author?Being an author is tough work. The road is often rocky terrain and not always easy yet it is a calling and if it is something you will be committed to, take the first step and never look back. How do you deal with writers block?I stop where I am at in the book and step away. I find when one has writer's block, a change in scenery or maybe doing something fun or different will take you out of your momentary block and give you inspiration, too.
MY REVIEW.
4 Stars from Renee!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book contains 6 short stories about 6 different couples and the journey they have after they realize they are mates. The shifts in this book are not the usual shifters. The are considered outcasts in the shifter world.
Rose and Drew are coworkers. He is keeping secrets, but she is about to find them out. Can he keep his mate close, or will he lose her once she finds out the truth about him?
Daphne and Androvius meet at a bar one night. Will they be able to move forward after she learns just what kind is being he is? Or was one night all they would have?
Gamorra and Pietro are mates but another wanted her for his own. In a fight will he be able to defeat the one who wants her? Or will he lose not only the fight but her at the same time?
Ali and Harry (Hopper) two shifters who meet in a weird way and it turns hot pretty quick. But with them having history, should they even go there? Or should they just walk away?
Damaris and Cameron are neighbors. She is dating another shifter. Can he convince her to give him a chance? Or will one fight end all of that?
Jaela and Parker meet when he is her escort. She fell for him but was he only doing a job? When she tracks him down will he want her? Or will he keep moving forward with his work?
I recommend this book.
