๐‘ป๐‘ฌ๐‘ณ๐‘ณ ๐‘ด๐‘ฌ ๐‘ณ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฌ๐‘บ (New England Bay Sharks #1) by Hannah Gray is now LIVE! Donโ€™t miss this single dad, hockey romance!

BLURB.

As a single father, I often feel like the weight of the world sits on my shoulders. When my daughterโ€™s nanny gives me her two weeksโ€™ notice, Iโ€™m sweating bullets. Fear that my NHL season with the New England Bay Sharks could be derailed consumes me.

Finding a replacement seems impossible when, suddenly, Maci McKenzieโ€”a struggling author whoโ€™s running from some deep, dark secret in her pastโ€”steps into the picture. She needs a change of scenery to help her write, and I just need someone who isnโ€™t a complete weirdo to watch my kid when Iโ€™m not around.

As we grow closer, I learn sheโ€™s struggling to write the so-called โ€œspicyโ€ scenes. And, well, me being the nice fella I am, I offer my assistance and show her how a real man should treat a woman in between the sheets. Itโ€™s the perfect deal really. I get off, and she gets the inspiration she needs to write a book.

And not just any book โ€ฆ a hockey romance book.

But like all deals, itโ€™s not black-and-white. Soon, I find myself falling in love with the woman. But the closer I get to her โ€ฆ the further she pulls away. Then, I finally find out whatโ€™s haunting her from her past.

Whoever says the truth will set you free has never heard a secret like this one.

I Found Me a New Series!!

I was intrigued by the blurb for this book, but it ended up being so much more than I expected! This isnโ€™t your typical single dad/nanny romance. Hannah Gray really nailed it with Logan and Maciโ€”I was rooting for them from the moment they met.

Logan, a professional hockey player, is a total goofball with a big personality. I couldnโ€™t help but love him, especially seeing his relationship with his adorable three-year-old daughter. On the flip side, we have Maci, whoโ€™s more reserved and cautious. Sheโ€™s dealing with some past issues that have made it tough for her to come out of her shell, which definitely complicates her job. Maciโ€™s an author stuck in a slump, and a much-needed change of scenery leads her to nanny for Logan and his little cutie, Amelia.

I was instantly drawn to these characters, and as Hannah Gray unfolded their story, it felt so real. I didnโ€™t even see the curveball coming until it hit me! Sure, we all know where this is headed, but the real fun is in the details. Itโ€™s a slow burn with plenty of humor and glimpses of other team members who will be getting their own stories soon.

The writing is spot on, and Logan? Oh man, heโ€™s sexy as can be! He really seems to have it all. Honestly, I didnโ€™t find a single thing I didnโ€™t like about him. Tell Me Lies works perfectly as a standalone, but Iโ€™m already looking forward to Loganโ€™s teammate Koltโ€™s story next!
