Abbi Glines is back with her dark and twisted Georgia Smoke Series and whew wee y'all. Here we have the conclusion to Storm and Briar's highly anticipated story and let me tell you a little something.. you're heart and panties aren't ready for this beauty right here. 

After Abbi left us hanging in their first book, book three in this series.. the minute this baby landed on my Kindle it was all eyes on them until it was over. Briar and Storm were like a hurricane and tornado smashed into one at times and a hot, sweaty, swoony mess in others. The angst, drama, intensity, steam.. it was a so much but so right for these them. Emotions were high in these and many secrets were laid bare. What. A. Journey.

I'm not giving away any secrets and this is absolutely not a standalone. You'll have to go back to the start to catch up if you haven't already... but it is so so worth it y'all.

Abbi and her stories are always something I'll recommend.

This is more of Briar and Storm's story. You must read sizzling before reading this book.  Storm wanted her to be dependent on him so she would not be able to leave.  He made that happen and kept her in the dark with all kinds of manipulation and secrets.  Someone from his past comes around to stir up issues for them.  But the secrets will come out and make everything fall apart.  Will he be able to convince her that he loves only her and all his stalker activities and secrets were all about keeping her with him.  Will he be able to keep her in the end or will she leave him?

I highly recommend this book.

Watch Out for this Storm!

Hold on tight because "Storm" delivers a conclusion that surpasses even the messy entanglements of its predecessor, "Sizzling." This book wraps up the tumultuous saga of Briar and Storm, so put on your hat and secure your saddle for the emotional rollercoaster ride!

My feelings about Storm were a rollercoaster in themselves. While he embodies the archetype of a bossy alpha male, his incessant demands for Briar to relinquish her independence annoyed me. His default response to every emotion—be it happiness, sadness, or anger—with sexual intensity became overwhelming. Despite having encountered characters like him before, Storm's possessiveness over Briar felt suffocating, as if it took a lot of her hard gained independence away.

However, amidst these frustrations, I found satisfaction in how the author tied up all loose ends concerning Briar, Dovie, and even delved into Storm's own complex past. The narrative maintains its tradition of keeping friends and family closely intertwined, offering opinions and teasing Storm for his caveman ways.

The book is well written and steamy as all get out. While "Storm" can be enjoyed as a standalone, diving into "Sizzling" first ensures a fuller appreciation of Briar and Storm's journey.
