[Release Blitz + Review] Pucker Next Door by Sara Ney

💜💜 NEW RELEASE💜💜
We are excited to celebrate PUCKER NEXT DOOR by Sara Ney is LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

When a squirrel chews its way through my bedroom wall, I do the first thing any single girl like me would do: run screaming out of the house to the neighbors, begging for help.

I should mention that the house next door is full of hockey players. And when I lock eyes on rough and rugged Brodie Stockhausen—who happens to be outside brooding on the porch—I’m not exactly impressed.

But I’m desperate, in a bathrobe, and need a bit of rescuing.

Soon I’m begging for his help with more than just squirrel duty and DIY projects. I want his attention and his touch—not just his friendship!

I want what every girl wants: him lying in his bed at night, so desperate for me that he’s willing to scale two stories to sneak into my window. Hey, a girl can dream…

But Brodie has a secret; one that leaves me wanting more every time we’re together but has him pulling away…

Hilariously Sweet.

Sara Ney’s college sports romances have always been a delightful escape, and The Pucker Next Door continues that trend. Let’s dive into the charming world of Brodie and Lizzie.

Brodie stands out as a breath of fresh air among male protagonists. His super-charming demeanor is endearing, and what’s even better? He’s blissfully unaware of it. When Lizzie encounters a squirrel in her wall (a relatable panic!) She seeks help from the hunky hockey players next door. Enter Brodie—the quiet, handsome guy who doesn’t mince words. He’s focused on school and hockey, and Lizzie’s hotness doesn’t distract him—at least not initially.

Lizzie, on the other hand, isn’t my favorite character. She’s obnoxious and often irritating. Her struggle with Brodie’s lack of fawning attention highlights her immaturity. Brodie, refreshingly down-to-earth, doesn’t play the typical swooning hero. Lizzie isn’t quite sure how to handle that.
The Squirrel Factor: The squirrel theme adds humor to the story. From start to finish, these furry creatures play a pivotal role.

The book is well written and alongside Brodie and Lizzie, we meet a lively cast of characters—hockey players, roommates, and their “helpful” advice. However, the constant internal dialogue occasionally takes center stage, leaving less room for actual conversation between Brodie and Lizzie. The book wraps up with a cute epilogue, making it a standalone gem. In summary, The Pucker Next Door delivers laughs, romance, and a quirky squirrel-infused journey. Sara Ney’s writing shines, even if Lizzie occasionally grates on my nerves.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs and heartbreak.

This is Lizzie and Brodie’s story. She needs help and goes over to her neighbor’s house for help.  He is not really wanting to help but does it anyway.  He does not seems to fall for all her charms and that has her struggling a little.  But once he does fall he falls big.  Since they are in college will it be something that lasts?  Or will it be over at the first sign of a little trouble?  They bonded over a squirrel so you should already know this book is packed full of fun and laughs.

I recommend this book.

Sara Ney has a brand new book out and I knew it promised to be a fun, sweet, easy romance if she was writing it and delivered on that.
