[Release Blitz + Review] Craving My Rival by P. Rayne

Craving My Rival by P. Rayne is now live!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

Polina Aminoff

At the Sicuro Academy, the Russians and the Italians give each other a wide berth. We’re bitter enemies after all.

So imagine my disbelief when my brother announces that I’m to wed Dante Accardi, next in line to run the Accardi Italian crime family.

After the shock subsides, I’m determined to save myself. It’s not until my plan is in full swing that I realize there might be more to Dante than I first thought. But those closest to me, those who were supposed to protect me have always hurt me. Now, I have to decide whether to trust him with my heart or whether he’ll just be another person in my life who brings me to my knees.

Dante Accardi

Polina Aminoff is a Bratva brat and an ice princess that I don’t think even an easy-going guy like me can thaw. And I’ve never had an issue melting the panties off a woman before. I’m just as unhappy about our engagement as she is, but my father made it clear—it is my duty to the family.

Once we’re forced together, another side of Polina shines and I start to think we could have a future together that doesn’t involve being bitter rivals.

But she’s hiding something, I just don’t know what. Which leaves me wondering, can I ever really trust my enemy?

MY REVIEW.

3.5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Back to the Academy.

In this fourth installment of the Mafia Academy series, we get up close and personal with Dante and Polina. Mafia royalty who find themselves forced into an arranged marriage.

As I have mentioned before, I’ve had a difficult time getting into this series. I found it hard to wrap my head around the fact that there is a college to teach kids from various mafia families how to be in the mafia. Such an odd concept. Dante is next in line in his family and with a bit of a dust up in the past between the Italians and the Russians, he is now forced to marry the Russian princess, Polina. These two know of each other from the academy and are oil and water on the surface, however found a common ground. I wasn’t a fan of either character when it came right down to it. They were written stiff and immature. They had zero chemistry, even when they actually tried.

As a fan of Piper Rayne, I stuck with this series, however it isn’t one of my favorites from them. It’s as if they are trying to tread lightly on the dark side but aren’t quite ready to go all the way. Even as part of a series, Craving my Rival reads well as a standalone with a nice epilogue.
