I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, and heartbreak.

This is Lake and Nick’s story. Lake and Nick have known each other for a long time. When Lake needs help to attend a retreat that is mostly men Nick steps up. They have chemistry and throughout the story it shows. They both have hurts in their past the keeps them from becoming too attached. But when her past comes for her, he knows he will work with her to make her feel safe. But will she run from the past and end up losing him in the process or will she stay and fight for what she wants?
I recommend this book.
