TAKE ME THERE by J.H. Croix is LIVE!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

A swoon-worthy romance from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix!

I’m not planning to fall for the hot, broody military hero, thank you very much.

Skylar’s all but wearing a Stay Away sign. She might be tempting, but I can take a hint. Until a single moment leads to one kiss and then another. Before I know it, I’m in deep.

After tragically losing my first love, I never planned to fall in love again. But Skylar gets to me. She doesn’t even believe in love. I want her to believe. I want to slay her dragons. All of them.

I can handle it. My heart won’t get involved. Until Skylar walks away.

Tucker & Skylar’s story is perfect for readers who love: broody military heroes, friends to lovers, slow burn, small town gossip, emotional romance with a dash of angst, tons of swoon, and one smokin’ hot protective hero.

MY REVIEW.

4.5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Two Broken Souls

In Take Me There, J.H. Croix ticks off a lot of boxes for me. Small town romance, two broken souls finding each other and characters from the previous books still involved as we read along.

We've met Skylar and Tucker in previous books, however now it's time to shine the spotlight on thier past, whether they like it or not. Tucker is closed off to relationships and everybody knows it's something to do with his high school girlfriend, but they don't know what. Skylar is pretty much Tucker's mirror image, she's also running scared of relationships and the nosey, matchmaking crew of Diamond Creek is bound and determined to get these two together.

I would call this romance a slow burn and I was okay with it. Tucker and Skylar have a lot to unpack emotion-wise and after thier first kiss, it was in thier best interest to take things slow. While Tucker was written as gruff so to say, he really was a sweet guy that would do anything for those he loved. Skylar was scared, rightly so and I was getting frustrated a smidge with her, however loved the dynamic between her and the other "girls" of Diamond Creek and knew they would help her out of her shell.

The book is well written and a great addition to the series. Like I said, all previous characters are involved living thier lives in the background, while helping Tucker and Skylar out as well. The book can be read as a stand alone with a nice epilogue to peek into the future.
