[Release Blitz + Review] Somehow Finding Us by Claudia Burgoa

We bonded through music. We're bound by sins. Music might save us.

SOMEHOW FINDING US by Claudia Burgoa is NOW LIVE!!!!

ABOUT THE BOOK.

Our flame was sparked in misery. Only salvation will keep it from consuming us.

People think they know me, but they only know my demons.
Only Zeke has ever seen behind my walls.
I've learned to control the narrative.
It helps me keep my secrets hidden. It also keeps those demons in control.

Zeke is fighting for his life.
He's suffering.
And I'm the one that did this to him.

He wants to move forward and forget the past.
Forward as in without me. As though I could ever let him go.
But I can't let the past go either.

Friends. That is all he offers. but I want more.
Then calamity strikes.
The Sinners of Seattle are devastated yet again.
And like always,  Zeke and I are forced to deal with the aftershock.

I can't help but wonder if he's next.
I should stay away from him forever.
Not hold onto him while we try to survive.
Only one thing is certain.
If we go down, this time it will be together.

USA Today Bestselling Author Claudia Burgoa brings you an MM romance full of angst and tragedy turning to hope in a redemption love story that'll break your heart and mend it all over again. The second half of the Second Chance Sinners duet is emotional, endearing, and full of romance.

MY REVIEW.

3.5 Stars from Tiffany!
⭐⭐⭐

Long Emotional Road Ahead

After the ending of Pieces of Us, you kind of knew, but didn't, but then hoped things were going to start out differently in this second book for Zeke and Ethan. Claudia Y. Burgoa gave her readers a long and winding emotional road for these characters to navigate in the aftermath of book one.

There were a lot of moving parts in the first book, so much so that I felt disconnected from the characters and sadly, it was the same this time around. While we have the whole gang present and accounted for, I still didn't really know who was who and who belonged where.

That said, I did enjoy the long haul these characters put in and the help they sought to better themselves and the relationships around them. There was a lot of back and forth and the angst setting stayed pretty low. While we all knew how it was going to end, the journey was an interesting one.

The book is well written and I loved the email aspects thrown in. So much more can be said to a person when it's written down. While I'm disappointed that I couldn't invest more, Somehow Finding Us was a nice end to this duet.
