I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, and heartbreak.
This is Annabelle and Jacob’s story. Annabelle was married but lost her husband and has since really given up hope. She was married but not for love like other people she married for hope and when her husband died, she lost that promise of hope she needed. Years later her new neighbor is her late husband’s brother. He does not really know her but just dislikes her. When secrets of her marriage are revealed his opinion changes. But they are fighting more then just the past. Other people are causing obstacles in something they might be able to build. Can they have a future or will it just be too much?
I loved these characters. This book had a ton of laughs. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book.
