Jessa York is a newer author to me and I'll definitely be checking out her blacklist after reading this beauty because y'all, this was one really, really good romance.
Hot Shot Hero is a standalone in the Cocky Hero Club, giving us Chloe and Rhys journey and what an emotional, much needed journey these two had. Packed with heat, heart, swoon, laughs, undeniable chemistry, and all of the feels that'll leave your heart bursting at the seams in so many moments... these two will steal your heart, have you needing a tissue or ten, and leave you wanting just a taste more from them by the end.
That cover and blurb are what drew me in but the words, those feels, these characters are what made me stay til the very last word.
I definitely recommend this book.
Jessa lives in a very non-descript, unassuming town filled with the best kind of people. Most days, she can be found in the stands of various soccer fields, cheering her on her Youngest, or discussing books with her Oldest (who is an English Honors student).
At night, if she’s not up burning the midnight oil, Jessa enjoys snuggling up to her real life chef hubby and watching his latest pick for a cheesy romance movie. He always chooses the best ones. (after he cooks supper, of course)
