I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, and heartbreak.
This is Elise and Justin’s story. Justin and Elise had one great night but then she ran from him. She knew what they did was forbidden after all he is friends with her brother. When she ran she didn’t think he would chase her but he did and he put everything into the chase. Once he realized that she was the one for him he knew he would have to work at winning her over. He is used to having to prove himself and knows he will do anything to win her over. Can he do it?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book.

Kendall Ryan is back, better than she's ever been (that's saying a lot y'all... super fan here!!) and hold on to your pretty panties ladies because you are in for quite the steamy adventure with this book.
Kendall is a master in what she does, always slaying when she puts the pen to the paper, always delivering a new favorite of mine and oh my goodness y'all! This is the perfect example of why I'm a romance reader. And a sports romance at that?! My total weakness in every single way.
This new romance was brilliant! Brand new series. Brand new book. Brand new cast of characters. Brand new level of excitement. Playing for Keeps is the very first up in this sexy, sweet, swoony, highly addicting series and this was a really dang good one y'all.... totally unputdownable from the very start, unstoppable in all the ways, and completely unforgettable in every little moment.
Justin and Elise stole my heart, kept my on my toes until the last word, and left me fanning myself, needing a sip of ice water. These two were combustible, magnetic, and so much fun. They know they shouldn't cross those lines but y'all... it was sooooooo worth it.
Kendall is always a must read in my book and I'm already ready for the next.
