[Release Blitz + Review] The Bribe by Willa Nash

THE BRIBE by Devney Perry is LIVE!!

Duke Evans didn’t expect to interrupt a beautiful woman in a staring contest with a bison on his favorite hiking trail. He also didn’t expect to see her again after rescuing her from the surly beast. As the sheriff in Calamity, Montana, he’s had his fair share of surprises but none as pleasant as pulling over a shiny black car and finding his mysterious hiking companion behind the wheel.

Only, she lied to Duke. She gave him a name as fake as her hair color. According to her driver’s license, her real name is Lucy Ross, the famous country music singer whose sudden disappearance has been a hot topic in the media over the past two weeks

He’s not sure why Lucy lied about her identity or why she’s in Calamity. And she’s not talking. Instead, she offers him a bribe to keep her secret.

But Duke doesn’t want her money. He wants to know why this woman is on the run. And as long as the star shines on his badge, he’s going to find out.

5 Stars from Renee!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Lucy and Duke’s story. Lucy is hiding out. She didn’t expect to come across the sheriff who knows just who she is and is trying to get all her secrets out of her. She offers him a bribe, but will he really take it? He is super protective and once he realizes she just might need some protecting he will be all over it. These two have great chemistry and the book has just the right amount of suspense to keep you pulled in. They are both really great people and work well together. No overly dramatic issues to deal with just a sweet and sassy love story.

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

5 Stars from Brianna!

We've got a brand new book with a brand new pen name from a crazy talented veteran author and just like every other book she's written, I was addicted right from the very start. Devney knows how to write the best alphas and the most beautiful small town romances but this book was just different and so very special.

The Bribe is the first standalone in the Calamity Montana series and y'all, just wait until you meet the swoony single dad - sheriff and the unsuspecting woman on the run who is going to captivate, steal his whole heart. You'll swoon. You'll laugh. You'll get a little twisted in some moments. You'll totally get all of the feels, the. whole. journey.

Lucy, Duke and their story is EXACTLY what you need.

I adore Devney Perry as herself and if it's even possible, I adore her even more after reading her writing as Willa Nash. She sure knows how to write a smooth, steamy, unforgettable romance that'll leave you with the VERY BEST feels.

I highly recommend this book.

“Let me hit him a few pop flies, then I’ll drive you home.”
“Oh, that’s okay. I can walk.” She took a step away, waving as she walked backward. “See you around.”
“Lucy,” I said, her name—the sweet one—loud enough for only her to hear. “I’m driving you home.”
She arched an eyebrow. “Please?”
I strode into her space, this time so close that the cotton of my T-shirt brushed against the fabric of her tank top. Close enough that I heard the hitch in her breath. “That wasn’t a request.”
“Bossy,” she whispered. “That’s a new look for you.”
“It’s not entirely unattractive.”
