ABOUT DARE TO PLAY.

He’s the bad boy of baseball who’s about to lose everything.
She needs a husband to get custody of her teenage sister.
Suddenly a marriage of convenience doesn’t look so bad.

Pitcher, Jaxon Prescott has a lot on his plate. Major League Baseball. Reputation as a player. And now? He’s on the verge of losing it all. He didn’t mean to sleep with his general manager’s daughter or get into a brawl that was captured on camera. But his notoriety is a problem and everything he's worked for is at risk.

What’s a bad boy to do? Marry his sister's best friend to save his career, even if it’s the opposite of everything he wants and believes in.

Macy Walker is the sole guardian of her half-sister until the girl’s mother returns and wants her daughter back. In order to win custody, Macy needs to provide stability and marrying someone would do the trick. Luckily for her, her best friend’s brother needs a wife.

They're this close to getting exactly what they want - as long as they don't fall in love.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Dare To Resist (Dare Nation #1)
Dare To Tempt (Dare Nation #2)

This is Macy and Jaxon’s story. He’s a player and a bad boy who is in big trouble for sleeping with the GM’s daughter. Now he needs to clean up his image. His little sister’s best friend needs help and if he helps her, he could clean it up. But he really does not want to. Macy is taking care of her stepsister but when the girl’s mother returns, she knows she needs help, or she is going to lose her. Her best friend’s brother needs a wife if they can just co-exist, they might be able to keep the girl and clean up his image at the same time. But the chemistry is off the charts can they keep from touching and falling for each other?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Carly Phillips certainly has a way with her words because since I discovered her years ago, I have come back for each and every single new release. When you throw in a DARE to any of her words and characters and know now that I'm done but all in the best ways- hook, line and sinker.

Dare to Play, the third standalone in the Dare Nation series, by this incredibly talented author was crazy, crazy amazing and y'all, just wait until you meet Macy and Jaxon. These two were simply EVERYTHING in the most unforgettable ways. A fake relationship, he needs her, she needs him. It should be easy and completely uncomplicated on the feelings end. It's anything but that for Macy and Jaxon. Get ready for an emotional and steamy journey to one beautiful hea.

If you like and can appreciate a sexier, easier, steamier, faster read that'll captivate you from cover to cover with all the beautiful words and all the best alphas then Carly Phillips is an author YOU MUST meet.

I highly recommend this book.
