BRIANNA'S EXPERIENCE:

While I enjoy cooking and trying different foods, I'm a baker by heart and trade on the side. Baking and eating sweets has always been a passion of mine, lol and my waist line surely believes that. But baking was instilled in my early in my life and very much used as an emotional tool.

My grandmother had me in the kitchen early as a little girl teaching me to cook her secret recipes but where her passion to bake something for her family and my grandfather, well that was given directly to me. She told me her best kept secrets and we spent endless hours in her kitchen and dining room... and taking baking classes together at the local college. Up until five years ago, I was a regular in her house daily and weekly.

And to this day I'm still baking weekly, so when a call it happened and I was approached about this COOKING tour, I was excited and couldn't say no. The recipes ultimately given looked fab but those cookies.... yes!! They have my two favorites, white chocolate and cranberries. So I jumped on this and made a big batch for my parents and hubby!

Totally a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 cookie!

Easy. Quick. Convenient. Affordable. You might even have most of these ingredients already in your baking cabinet. I whipped them up in my kitchen aide mixer and also used a spatula, baking sheet, measuring cups, my cookie scoop, and wax paper. They bake in under 15 minutes (I made mine much bigger than the recipe calls for) and set beautifully...with ridges and a nice golden color. And the yield is plentiful... I, alone, got 16 BIG cookies!

These cookies were absolutely delish and an instant hit at my house! So rich and not overly sweet (and a little tart when you hit the scrumptious cranberries) with a soft, buttery bite and unforgettable taste. It took about an hour start to finish and I had no issues, easily moving through the motions and creating these yummy morsels.

I'll definitely be adding these to my Christmas cookie lineup this holiday season. My extended family and friends pre-thank you now for the amazing recipe they get as gifts.

Go make these (you'll find the recipe below) and pick up its companion book, Bar Bites for a much sweeter experience!

1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 cup dried cranberries

NOW CHECK OUT AN EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT:

Nolan Wood checked his watch as he glanced around the house. Shelby’s house. Or it had started out that way anyway. Now it was his, too. Just as much as she was his.

With a shake of his head, he realized he was smiling. Not that he wasn’t usually—on the whole, he was a pretty laid-back, happy kinda guy. But since he met Shel, it took a rock solid effort to wipe the smile off his face. His Shelby. His paradox. The buttoned-up woman who’d let a loose cannon like him into her life—and in the process had changed him completely.
They’d been together for months now, but he’d known right away that she was special. And that feeling just kept getting stronger, until sometimes when he was around her he thought he might burst if he couldn’t release the pressure.
Then again, that’s one reason why he loved his radio show; that was one hell of a pressure release, after all.
Although it wasn’t quite as good as sex…
The thought seemed to shove him around, and he turned to face the suitcase he’d left by the door. For a second, he frowned. Afraid that maybe he was doing this all wrong.
But it was too late now. He’d already made his decision, his plans, and he was diving in.
He pulled the old-fashioned tape recorder out of his backpack. He’d thought it had a fun vintage flair when he’d found it in the station’s dusty storeroom along with a pack of unused cassettes. He’d snagged the device and the tapes, then recorded the message. Now, he put the cued-up cassette into the recorder, checked that the batteries were good, and added a Post-it note to the top. He left the whole thing on her coffee table. All things considered, much better than a printed note.
Then he drew in a nervous breath, grabbed his suitcase, and gave the inside of the house one last, long look.

This was it, he thought as he headed for the door. For better or for worse, everything was about to change.
