Title: A Better Version of Me
Author: Luna Blue
Genre: Erotic Romance
Publisher: Limitless Publishing
Release Date: October 31, 2017
I’m on a mission of self-discovery…at least, I think I am.
But my dream of writing front page newspaper articles is being overshadowed by my lackluster job at the local radio station. And cupcakes have turned on me, adding to my waistline rather than my happiness.
And then there’s Mike, the guy who took over the coveted breakfast radio show. I don’t like him. His constant attempts at friendship and offers of going for a beer make me doubt his motives. Not to mention he’s way too clinical and kind, and I’m pretty sure he irons his jeans.
We have nothing in common. And it’s not like we’re going to go out a few times and realize we actually find each other interesting.
Besides, why would I need a gorgeous, strong, muscled, ex-drill sergeant who would be able to save me from a potentially dangerous situation…when I have cupcakes?
3.5 Stars from Renee!
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The story has laughs, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.
This is Rosie and Mike‘s story. When this story started I was not sure I was going to make it through. It was funny but at times confusing. Mike comes off too nice at times but you can tell he has been hurt in his past. But Rosie is crazy in her own way. Grouchy and a little bitter about not getting the job she wanted. The togetherness for this couple came off a little forced and not smooth. The ending chapters were strange but you finally got a little of Mike’s POV. The other POV was a little weird but ended up helping the book a little.
I recommend this book if you like books a little crazy and funny.
Luna lives in Sydney, Australia and is a full-time writer. Her Inner West life is shared with a potentially lethal amount of coffee, her husband and their pet pantha, Buffy, who may or may not be real.
She is a regular relationship and dating advice columnist and a radio show host. She is now an ex-journalist because writing erotic romance is more fun than reporting the news. Plus, it lets her make stuff up.
A Philosophy major from the University of Sydney helps keep her insane. A second Major in Near Eastern Archaeology doesn’t really help her at all.
Luna is the author of After the Bronze and A Better Version of Me.
