[Review Tour] xo, Zach by Kendall Ryan

The first time we met was at a party.

Your ex arrived to show off the person he'd left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date.

I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty--and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days.

The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master’s degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing.

The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact.

I know I'm crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that's the only reaction I can get out of you, I'll gladly take it.

You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week.

I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong. I know that I'm only supposed to be your adviser and nothing more, but here's the thing. I think you're falling for me too.

5 Stars from Brianna!

I freaking love Kendall Ryan and all the words she writes. Sexy. Sweet heat. Intensity. Romance. Ryan ticked off each and every tick I have for the perfect book. A little slow burn at that makes your heart melt, xo, Zach was a breath of fresh air in the romance world with one seriously swoony guy.

Who said love was easy? It's not but it's so worth it.

When Poppy and Zach meet, there's an instant connection between them both... but it's complicated. You see he's her new advisor at school and Poppy's life isn't easy, at all. But with their undeniable attraction and many unforgettable moments between then.... they realize they are falling and each other has really become everything.

I laughed. I swooned. I smiled. I cheered for these two to push past the hurdles and make it. Poppy and Zach were the perfect pair and I fell head over heels in love with them. Oh and that ending couldn't have been more...right for them.

Kendall Ryan's a staple in contemporary romance and always a must read in my book.

I highly recommend this book.

5 Stars from Renee!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Poppy and Zach’s story. One chance meeting at a party where she needs him to pretend to be her date after her ex shows with his new girl. One kiss turns into a slow burn that makes them both want more but she is just not ready to jump into another relationship. Maybe fate will bring them back together when she is ready for more. When they meet again only days later she is torn. Now they are working together. He drops hints he could want more but she is still not ready. The chemistry is a burn, but they keep hands off each other. He wants her but will even annoy her to get the spark in her eyes and her to show him some of her sass. Can they resist the pull? Is this more then just attraction or can she trust this to be love? Is she going to be ready before he gets tired of waiting for her?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
