Title: Hangry
Author: Lily Kate
Genre: Contemporary Romance

ABOUT Hangry:

1. bad-tempered or irritable as a result of hunger.

  Ladies & Gents,
I sold my soul for a hamburger.
And I have no regrets. When a girl is trapped indefinitely in an elevator with a smoking hot burger and an empty stomach, even the strongest of women will crumble.
The story goes like this: Bradley Hamilton, the most frustrating human alive, offered me half of his hamburger in exchange for a date. I took him up on the offer—while under duress—and now I’m stuck with the consequences. Specifically, the scorching kiss at the end of our date that has me drooling for more.
However, there’s one whopper of a problem. This man has been a thorn in my side for the last twenty years—ever since he moved next door and became my older brother’s best friend. We’ve gone head to head for years, and now, he’s trying to buy out my restaurant in order to plop one of his big fat gyms there instead.
I refuse to let him ruin my business. Unfortunately, Bradley Hamilton is like an order of french fries: you just can’t have one. It appears our lips are addicted to kissing. He’s alarmingly handsome. Deliciously confident. And worst of all? Underneath that salty exterior he’s starting to show signs of sweet.
Brad Hamilton is my guilty pleasure, my cheat meal, my greatest craving.
Which is why he’ll be one habit that’s hard to kick.

4.5 Stars from Renee!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, sweet love, and heartbreak.

This is Lexi and Brad’s story. Brad and Lexi have known each other for years and the banter has gone on for that long. When they are trapped in an elevator together things start to fall apart. She is turning hangry he offers her part of his burger, but it comes with a price. He price is a date. For food at this point she will do anything. But after the burger is gone and they are rescued she knows he forced her under duress. He caught her in a weak moment and she can’t escape. The back and forth between these two will keep you laughing the entire book. But the chemistry and passion they feel just might be forever. Can they let that pass up? Will one date really be enough or is the beginning of something special?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

4.5 Stars from Brianna!

Lily Kate is amazeballs at romantic comedies and I've been a huge fan since I stumbled upon Delivery Girl. This isn't my first time with Lily and it won't be my last. Lots of laughs with a few giggles and tears (only happy ones of course) she always promises a good time with some serious punches to the heart and enough heat to fog up your windows late night.

Hangry is the first book in her brand new series Girls and it's totally off to the perfect start. A friends (kinda sorta enemies) to lovers romance with a twist or two along the way, this book was so much fun and left me feeling so full by the end. I devoured every single moment these two gave me and even then I still wanted a little bit more.

What's a food-loving girl to do when she's hangry and stuck in an elevator with HIM? Make a "can't-turn-back-now" deal with HIM of course, but this time... it's life changing... in the forever kind of ways.

Brad and Lexi were completely addicting and unforgettable. Their journey was real, sexy, sweet, fun, laugh out loud, unapologetic, and captivating right from the very start. The feels were so intense at times and their chemistry was undeniable. Throw in great banter and a sizzling attraction.... I couldn't help but fell hard and fast.

If you haven't read Lily Kate then you are missing out on those feel good..belly laughing romances that leaves a smile on your face from the beginning to end.

I highly recommend this book.
