AP new - synopsis.jpg

On the roof of a house outside Truelove, Maine, master carpenter Max Doyle looks down through a skylight and sees the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on. She’s naked, she’s gorgeous, and everything about her is perfect, down to the ball-busting tattoo of a rose that wraps around her hip. But it isn’t just any woman making his knees buckle. It’s his best friend, Rosie Madden. And as he stands there, mesmerized and precariously close to toppling off the roof, he knows he’ll never, ever be able to look at her the same way again.

Rosie can’t help but notice that Max is suddenly acting very strange—lots of long stares, totally tongue-tied, and not at all like the slightly cocky hunk she’s proud to call her best friend. She can’t figure it out, until later that night when Max rescues her from the world’s worst date, challenges her to a game of pool, and shows her just exactly what she’s got him thinking about. Repeatedly.

But life is complicated. Rosie’s cat, Julia Caesar, wants to eat Max’s dog Cupcake for an afternoon snack. A dream job threatens to pull them apart. And another glance through the skylight changes everything, one more time. Yet try as they might, they can’t go back to being just friends, because falling in love with the one you’ve always adored?

It feels so good.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The story has secrets, twists, and heartbreak.

This is Rosie and Max’s story. Max and Rosie are best friends but what happens when you accidentally see your best friend naked? One look changes everything. But when you try and hide your feelings things get weird. But after a crazy date they just might get a shot together. But what happens when the world interferes? Their pets hate each other. Dream jobs come up. Another accidental look via a sky light? Can they have a future? Or was it all just a dream that best friends could become more?

I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a good read.

I recommend this book.

This book! Nicola Rendell has been on point each and every time I read her but this book is definitely my favorite by far. New series. New characters. New pets. Get ready for a sweet and sexy, best friends to lovers story.

So Good was just that... sooooooo amazingly good. I laughed and laughed and giggled like a high school girl then laughed some more while I read this book. Max and Rosie were so much fun..easy...light...and safe. They made me feel good the entire time they filled my kindle and when the pages quit turning, I just wanted...more of them.

Best friends never crossing the line until Max discovers something about himself after an "accident"... he's in love with his best friend and probably always has been. But Rosie is complicated and getting her to give him a chance might be tricky but she is definitely worth the risk.

Rosie loves her life, even if it's not exactly like she thought it would be. She has a temperamental cat and the bestest friend any girl could ask for. Until one night changes it all. Just because he rocked her world better than any before doesn't mean anything... but it totally does. Now she has to decide to give him a chance or friend zone him...again.

It's sweet. It's cute. It's so so adorable. A cute little rescue pup. A grumpy cat. A sexy alpha man. A quirky chick. Their journey is bumpy and has a wee bit of drama but gosh these two... seriously they deserved to be together. Their chemistry was addicting and smoking hot.... and naughty Max, panties are totally optional.

This book definitely will be a top read for me this year. Go give this book a read, you won't regret it.

I highly recommend this book.
