Book Blurb

He was the myth and the legend of our small town. But no one knew the truth... except me.

My childhood was stolen by a monster. I’ve forgotten what love feels like. What happiness feels like. What hope feels like. I am numb.

He’s possibly as damaged as I am. Maybe even more. Scarred just as much on the inside as the outside. Just like me. He doesn’t speak. He doesn’t smile. He hides in the woods like an animal.  I should be scared of him. But I’m not. He’s the only one that has ever made me feel. And I want to make him feel, too. everything...

I Knew it Was Going to be GOOD!

Book after book Carian Cole gives you the most interesting men. Just when it looks like you have a favorite, she throws another on the pile. These Grace men are something else I tell ya! This review will be vague as to protect the various storylines.

"Is it possible to wish someone right out of your heart into existence?"

Double tragedy is what we are dealing with in Tied. Two beautifully broken people learning to live again day by day. Although thier situations are completely different, they are tied together by fate and until just now, I didn't realize the significance of title of this book. Duh.

I instantly loved Tyler, like all of Carian Cole's men, he was a gruff a-hole on the outside, but as sweet as pie on the inside. The guy has been through the wringer, some his doing and some not, so I really cut him slack on the attitude early. He's content. That as much as he can ask for with the past he has. A future is something he never thinks about.

Now Holly, she's a complicated girl, again, not at her doing. Like with Torn, Carian Cole chose a delicate situation to put Holly in and had to dance along the line of gratuitous and not. Leaving out the details that she did, made for a more comfortable read, however the mind fills in the blanks and it wasn't good for her.

"We're kinda made of the same ripped-up cloth."

These two have issues and I mean ISSUES. There is so much going on with them and between them, it almost seems impossible for things to work out. Almost. The scared girl and the gruff guy have a connection, a convoluted one, but a connection nonetheless.

"He understands me. Cares for me. We share the same pain and hope."

Bottom line. There's nobody for them but each other. They just fit. The book is well written from dual points of view. Along with Tyler, we interact with a few previous characters and of course, the next book is teed up nicely.

5 Stars from Renee!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, betrayal, suspense, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Torn (Devils Wolves, #1)

This is Holly and Tyler’s story. Both these two are broken. But together they could heal each other. Of only fate could bring them together. With the pasts they have would they even have a future? But when they are together they fit so perfectly so can they learn to love each other? Or will the past for both always hold them back.

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Author Bio

I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts. My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.

Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.
