Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos.

Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolos that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her.

After healing physically, Gwen decides to get a new start in a small town, half a country away from the man who nearly cost her her life. She isn't in town five minutes when she runs into Cade, a man that is too sexy and dangerous for his own good.

She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas, soon she is in way over her head. Her heart, and her life are in danger once again.

4.5 Stars!

The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, abuse, grief, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested.

This is Gwen and Cade’s story. When Gwen is almost killed by her ex and his club she decided to move to another town with her best friend and start up a business. The first day in town she meets Cade who is a hot biker in a motorcycle club. She tries to avoid him but Cade is having none of it. Cade knows Gwen is different when he first meets her so he takes it slow with her. He can see the fear she tries to hide. He will do anything to help her overcome. But when danger follows her can he get her to trust him to protect her? Or will all the danger send her back into her shell? Can he make her believe he loves her or will one person out to break them up forever make her believe differently? Can Cade get her back or will she leave him forever?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Be sure to keep a look out for the next book in the series.

I highly recommend this book.

Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth; then as she grew up her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.

Raised in small town New Zealand, Anne had a truly special childhood, growing up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. She has backpacked across Europe, ridden camels in the Sahara, eaten her way through Italy, and had all sorts of crazy adventures. For now, she's back at home in New Zealand and quite happy. But who knows when the travel bug will bite her again?
