[Release Blitz + Review] Mayhem by Alexis Noelle

Title: Mayhem
Series: Deathstalkers MC #5
Author: Alexis Noelle
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 27, 2017

I had to step up, take over,

Save her from herself,
From him.
He doesn't deserve her.
But I sure as Hell don't either
She's too sweet, too soft, too kind.
A broken shell of the woman she once was.

But now, there's more on the line,
She's in too deep.
And I'll be damned if I ever give up
On putting her back together,
Piece-by-piece,
Owning every ounce of the woman,
Who stole my heart.

4 Stars from Renee!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, love, suspense, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story please read the below books first:
Corrupted (Deathstalkers MC #1)
Heinous (Deathstalkers MC #2)
Chaos (Deathstalkers MC #3)
Broken (Deathstalkers MC #4)

This is Jasmine and Cutter’s story. Jasmine lives in fear. She wants out but knows running will cost more than she is willing to deal with. She lives in her own hell every day. Cutter wants her from first glance but can see the fear and pain in her eyes. Can he help her out? He gives her a job to keep her close and get to know her but right at the beginning he knows she is the one for him. He just has to make her believe she is it for him. When he needs support for them both he knows he can turn to his brothers in the MC and there woman to help him and Jasmine out.

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Another One Bites the Dust.

Well ladies, another Deathstalker is off the market. Just like his brothers, Cutter has found himself a damsel in distress and is instantly head over heels in love with her. I am so not an insta-love fan, however Alexis Noelle gives me absolutely no choice when it comes to this series. These guys love fast and hard.

"The men who hurt you the most aren't always the ones who mark your body-it's the ones who mark your mind."

Consider her mind marked. Jasmine is living in absolute hell every day of her young life. She knows she needs to get out, yet can't seem to find the right time. She's tried before and learned the hard way, it only makes things worse. Much, much worse.

The minute he sees her, he wants her. Cutter can tell there is something going on when he looks into the eyes of beautiful, frightened Jasmine. She is timid and paranoid, exhibiting signs he knows all too well. Thinking he'll get to know her a little bit better, he gives her a job.

"I will not let Jasmine spiral. She won't be overcome by the darkness. She'll survive this."

Darkness is putting it mildly. Like the previous books, there are some pretty explicit scenes in Mayhem. Scenes that made my stomach turn at certain points. Jasmine is a strong girl, even if she doesn't see it yet and Cutter is the best man for this job. Well, Cutter and the brothers of the MC.

The book is well written from dual points of view and continues the series nicely. All brothers and old ladies are accounted for and pitch in with Jasmine and Cutter when they need it the most. Looks like Tracker is up next and it'll be interesting to see what problem lands on his doorstep.
