:: MY REVIEW ::
I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, anger, secrets, and heartbreak. This story end on a cliffy so be prepared to read more of this story.
This is the start of Birdie and Beck’s story. Birdie is married to her high school sweetheart Mason. Beck is married to his college sweetheart Sophia. The meet only after their husband and wife become sick. They both attend a grief counseling meeting and the chemistry is explosive. But they both are trying to fight the feelings but also support there partners and each other. Can these two figure it out how to help each other? Will there partners get a second chance or will Birdie and Beck get a chance? We will have to wait until book 2 to find out….
I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book
Harper Bentley has taught high school English for 24 years. Although she’s managed to maintain her sanity regardless of her career choice, jumping into the world of publishing her own books goes to show that she might be closer to the ledge than was previously thought.
After traveling the nation in her younger years as a military brat, having lived in Alaska, Washington State and California, she now resides in Oklahoma with her teenage daughter, two dogs and one cat, happily writing stories that she hopes her readers will enjoy.
