ABOUT Confessed:

Lucy Burchett is the heiress to a notoriously disastrous family, and she's left home for good. But when she runs a big, black pickup off the road, totaling it, she finds herself stuck in the middle of nowhere with the driver. He's got a body to die for and a hair-trigger temper. Vince Russo looks like a felon, but he's also pretty funny. He’s on the lam from the cops… and a psychopathic, Russian mob boss who wants to put his balls on a barbeque. Literally.

After a night of ill-advised cocktails and bathroom-wrecking sex, Vince just can't get Lucy off his mind. But he's got plans to rob her. And Lucy’s life is about to get a little bit criminal too.

But can a bad boy and a good girl really escape from their troubles together? Can they trust each other at all?

In the steady march of disasters that follow them west, they fight and they laugh. They tease and they’re tender. They’re either oil and water, or chocolate and peanut butter.

Except, they can’t run from the real world forever. And there’s a hell of a surprise in store for both of them…

To the reader: Confessed is a standalone featuring Lucy, who readers met as the best friend in Professed. Both are standalones and do not need to be read together. Be advised, things get super dirty in this book. The sex is explicit, and the language is rude. It’s an erotic love story with fury. Other tasters’ notes: Bobby pins. Peculiar motels. Horses. Motorcycles. Aiding and abetting. Great Smoky Mountains. New Mexico.

5 Stars!

I have fallen into author and book love with this brand spanking new release. This book was everything I wasn't expecting and perfect in every way. I haven't connected with a book like this in a long time but Confessed... it was the absolute best. Both captivating and intriguing, this book guarantees readers steam, lust, love, and happily ever afters.

Ready to squirm in your seat? Meet Lucy and Vince... they are going to light your e-reader on fire. Confessed was a fast, sexy, intense, passionate, and crazy good romance that kept my on the edge of seat the entire book. I devoured this book in one sitting and immediately went to buy Professed, her previous release and one highly recommended.

While Nicole Rendell is a brand new author for me, she won't be "new" for very long. This book was so amazing. I fell hard and fast for Vince and Lucy. They made me laugh, smile, and swoon hard. They were perfect for each other in the most imperfect ways. Their story... their chemistry... their love... everything about these two just hooked me hard.

I highly recommend this book.

4 Stars!

Funny, Witty, Romance

This was my first Nicola Rendell book and won't be my last, as I was instantly hooked on her writing style. Very casual, yet descriptive. She tells a story well. Confessed is a standalone, however slightly features Naomi from Professed, which I just added to my TBR. This writing style and my all time favorite genre teacher/student, sign me up! I digress, back to Confessed.

We've got an heiress looking for an escape and a felon hiding out to save his life. They meet, have sink shattering hot sex and somehow end up in the adventure of all time. We travel from state to state with this crazy couple as they hide from cops, the feds, private investigators and upset parents. Anything that could possibly happen to them does and then some, keeping readers on thier toes page after page.

This is a classic opposites attract story. Vince and Lucy had nothing but chemistry in the bedroom, even if the past lives they were living weren't similar in any way, shape or form. Speaking of bedroom and bathroom and pretty much anywhere they went, the sex was smokin hot until Nicola Rendell decided to use "that word". The word that puts any sex scene, no matter how hot, to a screeching halt for me...daddy. Ugh, I hate it. Absolutely hate it. And pretty much skimmed the rest of the sex scenes so I didn't turn on these characters I was growing so fond of.

The book is well written in dual points of view and moves at a quick pace. It's funny, sexy and even action packed at times. Nicola Rendell did a great job with a million different crazy situations, nicely bringing them together by the last page. The end felt a bit rushed, however I will take that over a cliffhanger ending any day.
