Perfect for fans of Kristan Higgins and Robyn Carr, this sexy yet sweet military romance reunites a headstrong dancer and a rugged army soldier after one steamy encounter tears them apart.

As a dancer who creates mesmerizing visions onstage, Neve James is looking for the same kind of stability in her love life. Her pen pal, Rory McRoy, is on leave from deployment in Afghanistan, so she heads to Boston to surprise him. After corresponding for months as part of a “Support Our Troops” initiative—and exchanging dozens of “Read When You’re Alone” letters—Neve knows what Rory likes, and she intends to fulfill his every fantasy. But all they get are a few blissful moments together before they’re interrupted by a woman claiming to be Rory’s fiancée.

Rory has fallen hard for Neve’s letters. When he finally meets her in person, he has to have her, right then and there—until Neve takes off in a fit of anger. Forced to return to Afghanistan before he can fix things between them, Rory waits four agonizing months to prove that he’s not the man Neve thinks he is. But by the time he arrives in New York, she’s already made up her mind. Luckily, Rory never backs down from a challenge, and he’s prepared to put everything on the line for love.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, lies, betrayal, misunderstandings, pain, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first:
Loving You Is Easy (Loving You, #1)

This is Neve and Rory’s story. Rory and Neve were pen pals. Once Rory came stateside Neve decided on a visit. They had a naughty time in the closet at Rory’s family’s bar only to be caught by Rory’s childhood friend. That friend stated she was his fiancé and ruined the moment. Neve fled and would not talk to Rory again. Now months later, Rory is once again stateside and determined to get Neve to listen to him about the misunderstanding. Will Neve give Rory a chance to explain? With all the misunderstanding between these two can they make it work? What happens when Rory does not trust Neve and misunderstands a situation. Will it be the end of them or will they be able to work there way back to each other?

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

I love a story that gives me the feels while providing a heartwarming story. I loved watching these characters heal. I loved watching them fall in love. I loved the journey their took to get there. I just loved every piece of this book. I did not read book one in this series but plan to in the near future.

I really liked this book. It was a beautiful second chance romance that will give you tons of feels and a lot of passion. Rory and Neve take you on a complicated journey with a few twists and turns along the way. I was on the edge of my seat while reading some parts of this book. It opens with a band and ends perfectly. These two will give you an honest look at giving second chances. They will give you an honest look at healing our scars. This book will make you a believer in happy endings.

This is Rory and Neve's story. Their story was a sweet second chance type romance that left me with a smile. Sexy, sweet, fun, intense, passionate, and complicated, their story takes you on a journey of learning to forgive, heal, and give love a chance. These chemistry between these two was sizzling and I loved watching them fall. Their story was complicated and twisted at times but worth every moment. Never and Rory will make you fall in love with their letters and definitely in their hearts.

I recommend this book.
